Children’s Hospital Foundation supports Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU by raising critical funding to finance a wide range of children’s health services, primary care, specialty and subspecialty care, burn, trauma, transplant and long-term care at more than 15 locations across Virginia.
The League of Women Voters
Founded in 1920 as a “mighty political experiment” to help women carry out their new responsibilities as voters, the League of Women Voters of the United States has been a major force in American politics since then. As a nonprofit, nonpartisan, grassroots political organization, the League’s mission is to ensure that every American has the opportunity to make their voice heard by casting their vote.
Pancreatic Cancer Action Network
Founded in 1999, the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) is dedicated to fighting the world’s toughest cancer. PanCAN’s urgent mission is to save lives while advancing progress against pancreatic cancer on multiple fronts: research, clinical initiatives, patient services and advocacy. Their nationwide network of grassroots support includes their signature event, PurpleStride, and advocacy efforts at the local, state and national level. PanCAN is determined to improve patient outcomes.
